Your health data belongs to you.
Genetics, lab results, and symptoms are about as personal as information gets. This page explains, in plain language, what Mozart Health collects, what we do with it, and the control you keep. Mozart Health is built to HIPAA’s security safeguards, and we comply with federal and state genetic-privacy law, including the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA).
Our commitments
- You only see your own records. No clinician, caregiver, or shared-account view exists, and no employee can browse your health data.
- Encrypted everywhere. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- We don’t sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, data brokers, insurers, or employers.
- You can delete it. Wipe your health data from the app whenever you like, or ask us to close your account.
- Nothing you enter is public. Your records are never displayed to other users or employees of Mozart Health.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to run your account:
- Account details: name, email, and sign-in through Google, Apple, or email and password.
- Health information you add: genotype files, lab results and uploaded documents, symptoms, medications and supplements, sleep, diet, mood, and notes.
- Conversations: messages you send to the in-app assistant.
- Billing details: plan, purchases, and card brand, last four digits and expiry as reported by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic device and request information needed to keep the service secure and working. Our logs record identifiers, not health content.
How we use it
- To build your personalized insights and evidence-graded recommendations.
- To run, secure, and support your account, including billing.
Your genetic data
Genetic information gets stricter rules than everything else we hold:
- Never shared with insurers or employers. Health, life, disability, and long-term-care insurers and employers never receive your genetic data, whatever anyone asks and even if you were to consent.
- No law-enforcement disclosure without a warrant.
- Never sold, rented, or transferred to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.
- Your copy, your call. You can request a copy of your genetic data, or its deletion along with the results derived from it, by emailing support@mozarthealth.app. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to seven days before it is purged.
Who can access your data
- Only you, for your health records.
- Service providers that host and process data for us (cloud infrastructure, authentication, payments, AI providers), bound by their terms to act on our behalf.
- Support staff, for billing and identity details only: your name, email, plan, and transaction history. Every such access is logged. They cannot open your health records or sign in as you.
- Authorities, only where the law compels us to disclose.
Common questions
How do I delete my data?
In the app, open Account and choose “Delete all my data” to permanently remove your documents, notes, and tracked information. To close your account entirely, email support@mozarthealth.app from your sign-in address.
Does anyone at Mozart Health read my genetic data or lab results?
No. Access to health data is limited to your own signed-in account. Our internal admin tools cover billing and identity only.
Is my genetic data used to train AI models?
We do not train our own models on your records, and we use AI providers under terms that govern how they handle submitted data.
Do you share data with my doctor, insurer, or employer?
Never. There is no sharing feature, and we do not disclose your data to insurers or employers. Genetic data is never disclosed to law enforcement without a warrant.
How is my data protected?
Encryption in transit and at rest, access scoped to your account on every request, and audit logging of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but security is designed in from the start.
Can children use Mozart Health?
No. The service is for adults 18 and over, and we delete information we learn was collected from a child.
